Terms of Service

1. Overview

Pixel Ad Wars ("the Service") is operated by FreeReign ("we," "us," "our"). By using this website at freereign.dev ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What You Are Buying

When you purchase pixels on the board, you are acquiring a temporary, non-exclusive license to display a color, link, and hover message at the selected coordinates on our 1,000×1,000 pixel grid.

• Pixels can be outbid. Another user may purchase any pixel you own at any time by paying 2× the current price. When outbid, you receive a payout of 1.25× your original purchase price, credited to your earnings balance.
• Pixels can be nuked. A "Nuke the Board" action ($999,999.99) resets all pixels to their default state. Nuked pixels do not generate outbid payouts.
• No guarantee of permanence. We do not guarantee that the Service will remain available indefinitely. The grid, pricing, and all features may change or be discontinued at any time.

3. Refund Policy

All purchases are final. Because pixel ownership can change instantly via outbidding, we cannot offer refunds for any reason, including but not limited to:

• Being outbid by another user
• Board nukes
• Accidental purchases
• Service changes or discontinuation

Refund requests for fraudulent charges should be directed to your payment provider. We reserve the right to issue discretionary refunds on a case-by-case basis.

4. Acceptable Use & Content Policy

You agree not to use the Service to display or link to:

• Content that is illegal, threatening, defamatory, harassing, or obscene
• Hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory imagery
• Phishing, scam, or malware sites via pixel redirect URLs
• Content that infringes on trademarks, copyrights, or other intellectual property rights
• Sexually explicit material or content harmful to minors
• Impersonation of other individuals, brands, or organizations

We reserve the right to remove, modify, or disable any pixel content that violates these rules without notice and without refund. Repeat offenders may be permanently banned.

5. Pricing, Earnings & Fees

• Base price for an unclaimed pixel: $1.00 USD.
• Outbid price: 2× the current pixel price (e.g., a $1.00 pixel costs $2.00 to outbid).
• When your pixel is outbid, you earn 1.25× your purchase price, credited automatically to your earnings balance.
• Referral bonuses: if a user purchases pixels through your referral link, you earn 10% of their purchase total, credited to your earnings balance.
• Earnings payouts are available once your balance reaches the minimum threshold, and are processed manually via your preferred payment method.
• A processing fee (covering Stripe's 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) is added at checkout and shown before payment.
• Minimum order: $5.00 before fees.
• All prices are in USD.

6. Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card information. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
